Thanks to Los Alamos Main Street and ScienceFest for funding this opportunity for an in-depth look at New Mexico Wildlife Center’s Ambassador Animals and their habitats!

This program is a staff-led tour of our Ambassador Animals, during which participants learn about the wildlife rehabilitation done at NMWC, information on the individual (including why they are considered non-releasable) and the species, and human impacts (negative and positive) on wildlife here in New Mexico. It includes an Ambassador Animal encounter, which varies but could be seeing a training session for a mammal or bird or meeting a reptile up close.
