Please note: Due to an organizational event on Saturday, October 17,
NMWC will be CLOSED to visitors
but will remain open for wildlife intakes.
We will resume normal hours for visitors on Sunday, October 18.

Animal Encounter programs take place Tuesdays-Sundays at 11:30am here at NMWC!
Meanwhile, learn about all of our Ambassador Animals and New Mexico’s wildlife!

Found an injured, orphaned, or sick wild animal?
Call us at 505-753-9505!
If calling after hours, please leave a voicemail and keep the animal secured in a dark, quiet place away from people and pets overnight.
Please do not offer food or water to the animal. We check voicemails daily and will call you back with further instructions.
