In this captivating program for young learners, we endeavor to engage the imagination by reading an interesting story about an animal and then meeting a live Animal Ambassador of the same species.  Afterwards, participants will be invited to select a book from our Learners’ Library, which they can take outside and read to one of the resident Animals who they believe will appreciate the story.  Including games and touchable bio/artifacts, we welcome you to join us for a family-fun program.

This is the tenth program in our Saturday Speaker Series this year and will be led by experienced educator and Site Manager, Ben Montgomery. The program is FREE and admission to the New Mexico Wildlife Center is FREE between 11 am and 1 pm on Saturdays during the month of March!
