With over 500 species occurring in the state and with numerous biological climate zones, New Mexico is a bird-watchers dream. Whether you’re an avid naturalist looking to gain new insights, or a novice interested in how best to get started, this program offers something for everyone. Come learn some of the tips and tricks for identifying various field markings, and then walk the site with an experienced guide to see who might be flying through.

This is the third program in our Saturday Speaker Series this year and expert birder Alex Patia will be our presenter (he also happens to be our Education & Outreach Coordinator). The program is FREE and admission to the New Mexico Wildlife Center is FREE between 11 am and 1 pm on Saturdays during the month of February!
